CoC Campaign: Horror on the Orient Express

I was lucky in that I was able to convince a number of my coworkers, as well as my wonderful girlfriend, to give TTRPGS a shot now that this pandemic is largely over where we live and we are all vaccinated. We tossed around a few ideas for systems but Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition is what we decided to stick with. This campaign will have updates much less frequently than my other campaigns as getting together in person is rough even during the best of times. I have decided to run Horror on the Orient Express for them and this page will be updated with their character profiles once they are created and we have begun this in earnest.

Currently, our first "session" was dedicated to showing them some CoC character sheets and playing the wonderful game called the Ground Itself in order to get them into a creative mindset. It is a truly lovely experience playing this game with a group of people because the story that you come up with together is always different and always bonkers. After this, we agreed on running the mystery from the Call of Cthulhu Keeper Screen Pack called Missed Dues. I will likely post how that goes into this campaign even though it is just an experience for them to try out the game without worrying about characters that they created themselves.
